PayPal was founded in the year 1998. It was originally accepted in Africa. However around 2004, PayPal decided to take a stance to solve the problems some of their customers in the West were facing using PayPal. Some customers were complaining about mysteriously losing money from their PayPal account. These monies were traced to Africa where it was used to purchase merchandise and all manner of products online (fraud).
PayPal then decided to backlist African countries from using PayPal completely. After a lot of plea from many African countries, PayPal decided to let some African countries on board. Even the few of the African countries that were allowed on board had restricted use of their PayPal account. Some of them could make payments but not receive payments. Others who could receive payments could only have it transferred to American banks and cannot spend anything they have received unless they have done that. This is so unfair and very painful especially for legal and earnest workers in Africa who simply want to earn a living through hard work.
Starting off as an affiliate marketer from Africa was hell for me because most of my affiliates needed me to have a Paypal account to make payments. PayPal was all they recommended and nothing else. This became awfully stressful for me knowing that PayPal was not accepted in my country. I was forced into giving up on my dreams of making it as an affiliate marketer until I had the legal help I needed.
One thing they did not know is that they can never keep Africa down. I figured out a way to legally operate my PayPal account which I will put into a book soon for sincere guys who want to earn a decent living to start using too.
Host Gold.gh is here to help Ghanaians live the American dream…the western dream if I could put it…from Africa. Teaching and creating opportunities for young people around Africa especially Ghana is our priority.
