Following Matic’s signing, Manchester United reportedly agree to sign 24-year-old


In surprise reports carried out by the Sun, Manchester United have allegedly agreed to a deal to secure the services of Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United continued their relentless recruitment drive this summer by acquiring the services of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea for £40million and the signing of the Serbian international means that the Red Devils have spent well over £150million in the current window so far.
Despite such lavish spending, manager Jose Mourinho still does not seem to be satisfied with the business the club have done so far and it is believed that the Portuguese manager will look to bring in a couple of more players before the window slams shut later this month.
Right-back Serge Aurier has consistently been linked with a move to United over the past few weeks and now in surprise reports carried out by the Sun, claims have been made that the Red Devils have already gone on to agree personal terms with the 24-year-old.
PSG are also open to selling Aurier for a fee of around £25million but there is still a major obstacle that could stop the deal from happening.
Aurier was banned from entering the UK after being convicted of assaulting a police officer, following his arrest in May last year and the defender will have a hearing on August 7 to determine whether or not his travel ban has been lifted. United will undoubtedly be following the case very closely.
