Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has medical booked for Thursday ahead of exit

Leicester City are finally set to cash in on wantaway winger Riyad Mahrez.
The 26-year-old is set to join Italian side Roma, rather than long-time Premier League admirers Arsenal.
According to Arabic beIN commentator Mohamed Alkawaleny, whose tweet can be found here, the Algerian is set to have his medical on Thursday.
Unless the picture below is a fake, it would appear that Mahrez’s move to Serie A is all but complete as he poses in his new colours.Arsene’s backup
Since signing forward Alexandre Lacazette, Arsene Wenger’s primary target has been Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
Mahrez has been viewed by many as Wenger’s backup plan to Lemar.
Either Mahrez’s move to Roma means that Wenger has put all his eggs one basket with Lemar, or the Frenchman could be left with egg on his face come the close of the transfer window.
